For 2008, the Honda Odyssey has been given an all-new styling on the inside and out. Despite already having boasting rights to being the most powerful mini-van in its class, Honda again upgraded the Odyssey's engine with more power and more efficiency. The 3.5L V6 now brags 244 horsepower and offers exceptional power, all the while still having the highest mileage and lowest emissions ratings in its class. It is significantly quieter on the road, as well, and even more so with the available Active Noise Control technology integrated to quell road and wind noise.
Regarding performance, the turning radius is impressively tight, while steering and braking prove incredibly responsive. A firm suspension and stiff body structure unite for better road-handling, allowing for an excellent sense of grip and balance.
The safety features are all-encompassing and plentiful. Standard active safety features include the anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Brake Assist, which helps the driver retain steering control when braking hard, and Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with traction control, which helps to detect and correct oversteer and understeer. Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure is designed to absorb impacts of vehicles of various sizes in the event of front-end collisions. And front 3-point seat belts with automatic tensioning devices, front side airbags and side-impact door beams all help to protect you and your passengers in sufficient impacts.
