Customized Honda cars factor strongly into SEMA history and are a big part of Honda's 50 years in America," said Bruce Smith, vice president of Parts Operations for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "With a growing accessory lineup, now including MUGEN kits for the Accord sedan and Fit, Honda is committed to supporting personalization of our vehicles into the future." This could not be truer any place more than Miami, who's tuning population are some of the most capable, and eccentric, the world has ever seen.
The 2010 Accord equipped with MUGEN accessories was unveiled with the news that, as of this week, a complete line of MUGEN accessories will be available for the Accord at South Honda and other dealerships across America. Some of the goodies include 18-alloys, front sports grille, front and rear under-spoiler, sport floor mats, machined aluminum oil filter cap and a distinct front emblem. All parts are color-matched, so you won't have to worry about the odd shades produced by some third party developers.
Additionally, several new vehicles made the show, all suitably accessorized to meet the show's intent. The Dog Friendly Element, the All-New Crosstour, a MUGEN-fitted Fit and a HFP Accord Coupe and Civic Si Sedan, all heavily adorned with after-market accessories.
All in all, Honda marked the show as a success, and was very glad to give us 50 years of their reliable, well-performing brand. We're glad you came, Honda!
