Built to be manageable and agile, the Fit has a compact size and tight turning diameter, allowing it to conveniently navigate tight urban areas and fit in small parking spots. Inside, though, it is as roomy and comfortable as some vehicles much larger. The five-passenger Fit is versatile enough to be able to provide a cargo volume of 57.3 cu-ft when the seats are down, and capable of managing all but the biggest of mountain bikes, surfboards and everything else that defines your South Florida lifestyle.
New for 2012 are the Fit Sport exterior updates, including new designs for the front grill and bumper, black headlight bezels and a machined finish for the alloy wheels. The entry level retains its exclusive front design and gets body-color exterior mirror and new wheel covers.
The dash is adorned with dark metallic components, unifying the color scheme, and additional chrome accents in the Sport. Ambient lighting, new cupholders, and greater sound insulation all over all make the scene for 2012, plus two new colors from which to choose.
There's comfortable seating for five passengers, and the 1.5 liter engine is tuned to deliver an engaging balance of power and fuel economy. All models provide 117 HP and can offer a EPA City/Hwy/Combined fuel economy rating of 28/35/31 miles per gallon. Car and Driver named it one of their "10Best Cars", but you'll find the sharp styling, great fuel economy and impressive versatility alluring enough on its own.
