Honda Pilot named Family Car of the Year
Good news to all Miami Honda fans with families: The 2012 Honda Pilot has received Cars.com's "Family Car of the Year" award.
Thanks to a wide range of upgrades in the 2012 model year, the Honda Pilot has earned the top spot from Cars.com. A sleeker front-end design, enhanced interior features and improved fuel economy were all added to the 2012 model, all of which helped contribute to the 2012 Honda Pilot's bold family image.
"We're delighted to see the eight-passenger Pilot's versatility and family-friendly attributes recognized with this prestigious award,"said Vicki Poponi, assistant vice president of product planning, American Honda Motor Co. The 2012 Pilot already has earned the USA Today, Motorweek and Cars.com $37,000 and under SUV shootout, with the editor-in-chief noting the Pilot as "the perfect SUV for buyers who want to comfortably haul the entire family and all of their gear".
